Today I made the announcement to our church that I was resigning as pastor. Jamie and I don't know where God will take us next but we're trusting Him to be faithful just as He always is.
If you'd like to find out more about why we resigned, send us an email to either josh.mathetes(at)gmail.com or jamieleahilty(at)gmail.com. We can give you our phone number from there if you'd like to talk (I'm not sure how smart it is to post it here).
Thanks for all your prayers.

Josh and Jamie,
I know this decision has not been easy. God knows your hearts. We will be in prayer for you and for the members of your congregation as they face the changes before them. God is an amazing God.....He will provide all the needs of those who seek Him.
Love ya',
Mom
Love and hugs to you both right now...you're in our thoughts and prayers as you seek the next step! I know this is probably a tough time for you, but keep your faces lifted to the Lord. He is faithful.
Love,
Maria
Josh and Jamie,
We will certainly be praying for you as you face the uncertainty of the future. Keep looking up and He will guide your every step.

We have been praying for you guys...I hope Sunday went well and that the transition goes smoothly. I pray that God will open and close doors and show you what the next step is!!
Josh and Janie - I don't think we have ever met but I came across your blog today through a mutual site. Transition in ministry is never easy. I wanted you to know that I am prayN4U. In this last year I went through ministry transtion and I want to remind you that it is God who called you and God is faithful. Hold on as God takes you through your current decisions. Be encouraged today.
Times of change can be both difficult and very exciting. Sometimes I wish God would just "write it on the wall". But be confident..., HE will make HIS will known to you. God is in control and I am excited with you to see HIM reveal the next step in your journey. Aunt Tina
